• People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered. Love them anyway.

• If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Do good anyway.

• If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies. Be successful anyway.

• The good you do will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.

• Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable. Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway.

• People really need help, but may attack you if you help them. Help them anyway.

The Warrior Jumps Into the Abyss

Jump into the abyss. Risk everything and throw yourself in. Even if everything around you seems to indicate that you will die, you must take that risk. The hand of spirit will save you in the last moment. You will suffer from hunger and cold. You will feel the horror gripping your body as you fall. But do not doubt. If you do so, you will die. Trust that nothing evil will happen to you, and you will land softly.
